Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on and technically skilled Aftersales Service Technician to join our After Sales team in Nairobi.

At Roam, we’re building the future of electric mobility in Africa. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our electric motorcycles reliable, safe, and performing at their best, while ensuring our riders receive a high standard of service and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing and repairing technical issues on Roam electric motorcycles.
  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to ensure vehicle reliability.
  • Supporting customers across different service locations.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Maintaining accurate service and repair documentation.
  • Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high service standard.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience working with motorcycles/motorbikes.
  • Direct experience handling electric motorcycles.
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Good mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

⚠️ Please note: Candidates without direct experience handling motorcycles/electric motorcycles will not be considered.
